Festival of Sport (FOS) is an annual local mega sport event, and it promotes “Sport for All” through a serious of sports activities and thus to enhance sports culture in Hong Kong. Due to the pandemic in the past year, we have less chances to go out for sports and perform physical activities. However, maintaining good health is important to fight against the pandemic. Under possible condition, we should do more exercises, strengthen our body and maintain good physical and mental health.
The slogan for 64th FOS will be “NEW OR NORMAL!”. Through a serious of new online activities, participants can experience a new form of FOS. Don’t miss these! When the epidemic situation subsides, we hope that more physical FOS activities can be launched for the public. We will increase our support to the events of sports associations. As a pilot scheme this year, family elements will be included in the events of athletics, football and rowing. Looking forward to seeing you all in person!
We have appointed CHAN Ming Tai (Athletics), FAN Chun Yip (Football), Yvette KONG (Swimming) and LEE Ka Man (Rowing) to be the Ambassadors of 64th Festival of Sport. The Ambassadors will use their influence to encourage more people to participate in sporting exercises and support “Sport for All”. To get involved in “Road to Tokyo”, Ambassadors will share their Olympic experiences with the public and encourage them to cheer for the Hong Kong athletes together.
Besides, a newly designed FOS website has been launched! New functions include, event registration system, subscription of FOS e-newsletter, download e-certificate, etc. Through this new FOS website, you can get the latest FOS news and apply for FOS activities more easily. Please support us!
